Deleting your data
You are always in control of your data. You can permanently delete your Content44 account and everything associated with it at any time, using either of the methods below.
Option 1 — Delete it yourself (instant)
The fastest way to delete your data is directly from within the app:
- Log in to Content44 and go to Settings.
- Scroll to the Account section at the bottom of the page.
- Click Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then click Permanently delete.
Your account and all associated data are deleted immediately and permanently. This cannot be undone.
Option 2 — Email us
If you can’t access your account, email us from the address associated with your account and we will delete your data for you within 30 days:
Please include the subject line “Data deletion request” so we can process it promptly. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before deleting it.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes everything we hold about you, including:
- Your profile and login credentials.
- All connected platform accounts and their stored access and refresh tokens (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, X, Threads, LinkedIn).
- All content you created: posts, drafts, captions, ideas, strategies, schedules, and posting goals.
- All media files you uploaded to our storage.
- Analytics we collected on your behalf, including follower stats, post metrics, and comments.
- Your notification settings and API keys.
Once deleted, this data is gone and cannot be recovered. Content that has already been published to a connected platform (for example, a post that is live on your TikTok or Instagram) is not removed by deleting your Content44 account — you will need to delete that content from the platform directly.
Revoking platform access separately
You don’t have to delete your whole account to remove a single connection. In Settings → Connected Platforms, click Disconnect next to any platform to revoke and delete the stored tokens for just that platform. You can also revoke Content44’s access from within the platform’s own app settings (for example, your TikTok or Facebook account settings).
